A position is now available for a Principal or Senior EIA Consultant to support our diverse range of projects across the onshore and offshore environment.

This role is ideal for an experienced Senior EIA Consultant, or an existing EIA Consultant looking for progression and an opportunity to grow their knowledge and skills into new sectors.

The role is highly diverse and, although focused on Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), will also include feasibility projects, delivery of local initiatives, community development projects, and survey/site work, depending on experience.

Core Responsibilities

The role will be client-facing and tasks are likely to include:

·       Managing the EIA process for a range of developments and production of EIA Reports.

·       Supporting or leading the delivery of non-EIA projects, community development and other initiatives.

·        Supervising, authoring (where relevant) and / or reviewing EIA chapters in line with existing experience and technical discipline.

·       Coordinating EIA and other project processes.

·       Managing sub-contractors.

Essential Criteria

·       The candidate will hold a relevant degree or qualification with demonstrable EIA experience.

·       A specialism in at least one onshore or offshore EIA discipline, or proven general EIA project management experience through consultancy, planning, or regulation.

·       Creative thinking approaches to problem solving complex regulatory challenges. 

·       Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a technical role within an environmental consultancy or regulatory background, or similar experience in regulatory / planning. 

·       Consultation, project management/delivery experience.
