Barnaby Ashton, one of our Ecological Consultants, attended the Prague Innovations Week conference which was held on the 9th and 10th of October in Prague. The event was held at the ČSOB campus and hosted over 10,000 attendees. The event focused on emerging technology trends and ground-breaking ideas which allowed attendees to learn more about a range of topics including AI and sustainability. There were over 300 speakers at the event across 4 stages and an Innovative Expo showcased over 80 start-ups which allowed for hands-on demonstrations.

The conference also meant there were plenty opportunities to network with other businesses and learn more about how AI could benefit us as a business.

Barnaby Ashton, our Ecological Consultant said: “The conference was fantastic on a number of levels. It was fascinating to see and hear about some cutting –edge innovations and gain some insight into what may be coming in the future. Over and above that though was the pleasure of meeting so many amazing and interesting people. I made some great contacts for the business, new friends, and got to experience the culture of a place I’ve never been to before. An all-round excellent experience, and I’m already making efficiencies at work with some of the new AI tools I learned about.”

Atlantic58 would like to thank Highlands and Islands Enterprise for organising the trip.
