About Us
Atlantic58 is an environmental, ecological and project development consultancy based on the Isle of Lewis, in the Outer Hebrides. Founded in 2015 and incorporated in 2018, the company provides a range of ecological survey services and environmental and planning support services across both the onshore and marine environment.
Hebrides Based
Our broad portfolio of projects is focused mainly within the Western Isles of Scotland, subsequently we have developed extensive local knowledge - not only of the unique environment and ecology of the Hebrides - but also the wider consenting, licensing and development context. The company works with a range of bodies from small community trusts and common grazing committees to major public sector bodies and multinationals, and our projects span small community initiatives to the delivery of complex EIA projects for major developments.

Extensive Experience
Through both in-house experience and a network of associates, the company can support a wide variety of projects and welcomes collaborations with other consultancies working in the region.
We are continually building our in-house skills and assessing opportunities to extend our services. Our network of contacts and associates, many of whom are locally based specialists, can be mobilised to support specific project requirements, including large scale intensive survey efforts. We can also provide on-the-ground support for developers or other consultancies delivering large projects and can offer on-site or other ad hoc services including peat probing, environmental sampling or support with sourcing other relevant specialists or contractors on the islands.
